Heitkamp Statement On Rick Berg’s Votes Against Medicare, Condemns New Super PAC Ad

MANDAN, N.D. – Following is the statement of former North Dakota Attorney General and U.S. Senate Candidate Heidi Heitkamp regarding a new ad being run by Senate Majority PAC – which is a “Super PAC.” By law, candidates and Super PACs cannot coordinate on advertising.
“While I disagree with Rep. Berg’s votes to raise costs for North Dakota seniors and end the guarantee of Medicare, our disagreements should be put aside when it comes to our families. I hope that our campaigns can stay focused on having a real debate of the issues, because that’s what best serves North Dakota voters.”
