Heidi Heitkamp Statement on July 4
MANDAN, ND – Former North Dakota Attorney General and U.S. Senate candidate Heidi Heitkamp released the following statement:
“I want to wish all of my fellow North Dakotans a safe and happy Independence Day. This day always makes me reflect and be thankful for being an American. What a wonderful country we have been blessed to live in, a country where the daughter of a school cook and a seasonal construction worker is now able to travel around this great state as a candidate for the United States Senate. I will always be grateful for the opportunities and the freedoms that are the foundation of this country and have allowed me to get to where I am today.”
